Two Darlington Schools set off prior to 6am this morning to represent the Club at the National League Tournament Finals at Solihull Moors FC. After winning the regional tournament in York earlier in the year, St George's C of E academy boys team came a creditable 3rd, winning 2 games, drawing 2 and losing just 1. The girls, represented by Hurworth Primary went one better getting to the final undefeated winning 3 and drawing 2. In the final itself, the girls were super unlucky, dominating the game but finding the opposition goalkeeper in excellent form. Despite taking an early lead the game finished 1-1 with the Darlington team losing on penalties. We at the Foundation want to say a huge well done to all who represented the club today.
